Contact UsThe Biola Youth tuition discount is for all Biola University employees and applies to Biola Youth Academic classes that are offered through the STAR and Torrey Academy programs. These programs offer academic classes to junior high and high school home-schooled students; therefore, only dependents of Biola University employees are eligible.
The tuition discount only covers a percentage of academic class tuition. It does not include any other fees associated with an academic class, including late, add, and drop fees; non-participation fees; curriculum; additional class materials or supplies; and field trip expenses.
The tuition discount is for part-time or full-time, temporary or regular employees, as follows.
Discount for Temporary Employees
The discount for temporary employees is equal to the registration fee or class tuition, if the employee’s dependent is enrolled in a class that the employee is teaching.
Discount for Regular Employees
Employees may choose either an amount equal to the registration fee or class tuition, if the employee’s dependent is enrolled in a class that the employee is teaching. For other options, see chart below.
*Regular employees will receive discounts, beginning the semester following their hire date.

The tuition discount does not apply to summer programs, special events, or seminars offered through the STAR and Torrey Academy programs.
