University chapels and conferences are intended to bring the Biola community together regularly for worship, spiritual nurture, and education regarding relevant issues facing us in our lives. The overall program brings a unique distinction to the ethos of Biola as a Christian university.
Attendance at chapel and conference sessions is required of all undergraduate students. Employees are encouraged to attend chapel or conference sessions, as work schedules allow. Employees should schedule chapel attendance with their supervisors in advance and attendance should generally be limited to no more than once per week.
Traditional undergraduate chapels are scheduled on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, from 9:30 a.m. to 10:15 a.m., in Chase Gymnasium. Alternative chapels are Tuesday at 5 p.m. (Fives), Wednesday at 9:10 p.m. (AfterDark), Thursday at 12 p.m. (Midday), and Sunday at 8 p.m. (Singspiration).
