Overnight Office/Workstation Use Section 3.18 Dept: Human Resources Revised: September 23rd, 2015

Employees are not permitted to utilize their office/work space for overnight stays, unless they are working. Employees who are not scheduled to work between the hours of 1:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m., but who are working on campus during these hours, must notify Campus Safety of their presence. Unless departments have specific rules to the contrary, supervisor approval is not required to work during these hours so long as Campus Safety has been notified (with the exception of hourly employees who require approval to work beyond their normal work schedule).

Exceptions to this policy must have the prior approval of the applicable dean/director and the Sr. Director of Human Resources.
