Payment Options

Biola offers four payment options for your semester expenses.

Four Payments (4 x 25%)

  • Fall semester: 25% due July 15, August 15, September 15, October 15.
  • Spring semester: 25% due December 15, January 15, February 15, March 15.
  • $85 Plan Fee
  • If installment payments are late, a 1% late fee will be assessed on the account balance.

Three Payments (50% x 25% x 25%)

  • Fall semester: 50% down payment due August 15, 25% due September 15, 25% due October 15
  • Spring semester: 50% down payment due January 15, 25% due February 15, 25% due March 15
  • $85 Plan Fee
  • If installment payments are late, a 1% late fee will be assessed on the account balance.

Two Payments (2 x 50%)

  • Fall semester: 50% down payment due August 15 with balance paid by September 15.
  • Spring semester: 50% down payment due January 15 with balance paid by February 15.
  • $35 Plan Fee
  • If installment payments are late, a 1% late fee will be assessed on the account balance.

One Payment (100%)

  • Pay in full at enrollment. All charges for the semester are paid by August 15 for the fall semester and January 15 for the spring semester.
  • Your payment includes tuition, class fees, university housing, meals, parking permit and health insurance, less authorized financial aid.
  • No plan fee


If you are not paying in full, you must sign up for your payment plan online. You may do so after completing the online enrollment steps.

  • Students: Go to my.Biola > Enrollment > Payment and Payment Plans.
  • Parents & Others: Click here. Your student must grant you access as an authorized user to use this feature. To set up authorized users, students should go to my.Biola > Student Financials > Manage My Account > Authorized Users.

Down payment includes a total of 50% of tuition, class fees, university housing, meals, parking permit and health insurance, less authorized financial aid.

((Tuition+fees+housing+meals+parking+insurance) - financial aid) x 50% = down payment

How to Pay

Online: Biola accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover and electronic checks.

Students: Go to my.Biola > Student Financials > Manage My Account.

Parents & Others: To make a payment, click here. Your student must grant you access as an authorized user to use this feature. To set up authorized users, students should go to my.Biola > Student Financials > Manage My Account > Authorized Users.

International Students: Biola University has partnered with peerTransfer in order to streamline the process of international payments.

peerTransfer allows you to pay securely from any country and any bank, generally in your home currency.

By making your payment with peerTransfer you can:

  • Track your payments from start to finish
  • Save on bank fees and exchange rates
  • Contact their multilingual customer support team with any questions, day or night

By mail: Checks may be mailed to the Accounting Office, 13800 Biola Ave, La Mirada CA 90639. Be sure to include the student name and ID number.

By phone : Call the Accounting Office at (562) 903-4760 to make a credit card payment.

Returned payments will be assessed a $25.00 fee.
